This discussion will center around current statistics on teen depression, anxiety and the effects of social media. The intent is to begin having conversations about how to recognize students suffering from depression and anxiety and how to help our students learn to de-stress in a "world gone media mad". The participant will walk away with a few examples of ways to help their students learn to relax while gaining a list of resources, books, and websites that may be helpful if one is concerned about a teen struggling with depression/anxiety or addiction.
